were can i get the drivers for an xbox 360 controller to play pc games?

i have a wired xbox 360 controller and i want to use it for games like raimbow six vegas 2 and prince of persia i looked on the xbox site and microsoft site but google says the link is broken and wen i got to plug in my controller and installer comes up it says it doesnt have the right program were can i find a driver for my controller
